many roads

There are many roads to take in life. I happen to be on an open road, that has no walls. It has no lines painted down the center and that allows me to swerve to the left in the last moment, or if I feel like it drift zig zag, and flow from one side to the other. We are in a maze and the sooner we realize that there are no rules to follow which path, the better. I sometimes go  full speed, other times I like to meander. This is my life……many roads, no end in site.

Buddha in Chains..

“You can come to truth only when you are absolutely nude; when you have discarded all clothes, all philosophies, all theologies, all religions; when you have dropped all that has been given to you; when you come empty-handed, not knowing in any way. When you come with knowledge you come already corrupted. When you come in innocence, knowing that you don’t know, then the doors are open — then you will be able to know. Only that person who has no knowledge is capable of knowing.”

Dear Friends,

Today I am writing to you to let you know that we have received two new Osho books in our stock:
Each book comes with a discourse CD in which Osho speaks on the topic of the books.
The price for each book is $12.95, which is a great bargain, considering that you receive a discourse CD with the book.
and
for details on each book.
Do you enjoy reading fiction? If so, please check out two books by Premesh (Alan Bassett), an Osho sannyasin at
Premesh has created a new genre, the esoteric science-fiction thriller, and these novels are getting rave reviews (see the March/April Viha Connection magazine).
I look forward to your orders.
Love,
Dhanyam

the respite of nature…

The respite of nature has been my healer. This piece pretty much sums up the year 2011 for me. It has been a journey of change and healing. It’s been funky creative, joyous, and remarkable in a million different ways. I am alive, that is a big plus. That was questioned in 2010, but I managed in my own way to say I’m not ready yet, I have far too much still to do. My friends and family have been by my side, and I love you so much for the love you have given, for understanding my amnesia, my bitches and moans, my hopes, and my crazy slamma drive. Something happened good to my brain also. It came alive with creativity, it reaches, searches, and experiments. It is a toddler in a new world. The light of re-birth in a way has had a warm and profoundly comfortable peace to it.

Happy New Year!

I wish you love…

Danger: truth at work!

The twinkling eyes of Osho. I love this photo, he looks so mischievious, like he has probably just ripped someone wide open with one statement exposing their soul to the Universe.

Check out what programs are available this winter at www.Osho.com

If you cannot get to India, read a book, or listen to a discourse.

I guarantee it will change your life, no kidding.

Osho is one of the most influential leaders of the 20th century, and the least known.

“We have to learn a totally new language, only then can this old rotten humanity be changed. We have to learn the language of health, wholeness, happiness.”

Chic Inspiration: Rich, Artsy Fall Hues…

August 10, 2011  By JourneyChic 7 Comments

Nightfall arrives earlier and earlier each day, and although I’m holding tight to the last vestiges of summer I can’t ignore the fact that cool fall air will soon be here. The good news? New clothes for the new season!

The perfect fall outfit inspiration came from the recent Deb Haugen art sale at One King’s Lane. Her canvas art, called “Release” is a beautiful medley of turquoise, mossy green, golden yellow, and wine.

Just for fun, I tried the color palette tool from Big Huge Labs to see all of the different hues that make up this pretty painting. This was my first experience with this tool, and the way it broke down all the shades is so helpful for understand how the colors go together.

For an early fall look, I opted for a the darkest teal represented in the painting, and the detail at the top of this Anthropologie sleeveless blouse picks up most of the other colors. What a find! Although the leather jacket (which ships from the UK) and bag are on the pricier side, you would get a lot of use out of them. The burgundy heels actually have a subtle pattern to them that adds a unique touch.

Banyon in Kapiolani park…..

I sat under this banyon tree the other day in meditation. I want to tell you how wise this tree is. It spoke to me. It told me how many people talk to it. It has heard many, many tales in hundreds of years. The one message I kept getting from it …..be still and listen.

I’d say that is great advice.

Dalai Lama
“Some people automatically associate morality and altruism with a religious vision of the world. But I believe it is a mistake to think that morality is an attribute only of religion. We can imagine two types of spirituality: one tied to religion, while the other arises spontaneously in the human heart as an expression of love for our neighbors and a desire to do them good.”

l’amour de ma vie….

L’amour de ma vie…..This is to remind me of all of the loves of my life. My kids, my husband, my friends, my dog, and actually the LOVE of my LIFE itself. It is all so precious to me, and it is my life that I have great gratitude for. You have certain things in your life that surround you and keep you safe, keep you happy, keep your being at a level place where you exist daily…I want that place to always be a love place, an acceptance space, where all the good can enter. I want it to be a place where I go to for solace when I need the strength, when I forget to be kind, forget to be mindful. My life is amazing and I feel so fortunate to have been raised in love, around love, and honor love….I am of the Love generation, is it kismet yes, I think it is.

So this dear friend is to the Love of my life….L’amour de ma vie!
